Introduction
The first chart shows how the top Bible translations translate key passages. In Isaiah and Luke it should be translated "virgin." Anything else shows an influence to deny the virgin birth of our Lord. In Daniel it should be "the Messiah." Although Messiah by its self is acceptable, anything else would be denying Jesus is the Messiah. In Revelation it should be translated "are." Anything else shows a denial of an eternal hell. In Philippians it should be translated in a way to show Jesus is God.

The second chart shows study Bibles. These can be any translation (KJV, NIV, etc). We will be looking at the study notes to see how accurate they are.

The third chart is a list of Bibles produced by known cults. These Bibles have been deliberately changed to support false doctrine.

Notes:

WYC
And the devil, that deceived them, was sent into the pool of fire and brimstone, where both the beast and false prophets shall be tormented day and night, into worlds of worlds. Rev 20:10

Daniel 9:25,26
In this passage the prophecy of the coming Messiah is given. In John 1, rabbi's that came to John to ask him if he were the Christ or some prophet. This shows the common understanding of this passage to be referring to the one and only Christ or Messiah. The word Messiah is used in what is called the Semitic construct state influence. This means the proper way to translate the word is "the Messiah," not a messiah or simply Messiah. To translate this passage as "an anointed one" or "a chosen leader" is simply wresting the text. Even the Jewish history books like the Ancient Seder Olam teach it is the one and only king Messiah that Daniel prophesied to come and set up the Messianic kingdom. (This was written about AD 169).

Revelation 20:10
This passage is teaching those judged will be thrown into an everlasting hell. It should state that they are thrown into the lake of fire "where the beast and false prophet are." To translate it "were" is deliberately changing the text to the heresy of annihilationism.  To translate it as where they were thrown is simply to allow either doctrine to be taught. It would therefore be considered a very weak translation.

Philippians 2:6

1 Tim. 1:10
