British-Israelism

British-Israelism is the belief that the lost 10 tribes became Anglo-Saxons and Celts, or the British, Scots, Irish, and Danes, etc. We do not know where the majority of the 10 tribes are so they may or may not be intermingled with the Celtic tribes.

However, several doctrines of this movement are in error and some have become cultic.

  1. The doctrine that the church or the British are the true 10 tribes with all the blessings given to Israel has spread into the doctrine that the Jews in Israel today are rejected by God or are not really Jews at all.
    1. The "Protocols of the Elders of Zion" is a fake work pointing to a conspiracy of Jews. This was used to start WWI, by the Nazi's in WWII, by Sadam in the first Gulf War, and may other anti-Semitic groups.
    2. The answer to this is that the timeline prophecies of Daniel show the "true Jews" returning to their land in 1948 AD, so what ever group is in power in Israel now are the true Jews.

Scotland was named after "Scota" the daughter of Zedekiah. Scotland was named after "Scota" the daughter of Pharaoh Nectonibus when Niul married her and migrated to what is now Scotland.
Tuatha De Danann are the lost tribe of Dan. Tuatha De Danann were descended from Iobath son of Beothach of the posterity of Neimheadh son of Agnoman, son of Pamp, son of Tat, son of Seara, son of Srú, son of Easrú, son of Framant, son of Fathacht, son of Magog, son of Japheth, son of Noah
Lia Fail or the "Stone of Destiny" was Jacob's pillar brought to Ireland by Jeremiah the prophet. Lia Fail or the "Stone of Destiny" was brought to Ireland by the Tuatha De Danann about 500 to 700 AF, or 1800 - 1600BC long before the tribe of Dan left on ships.
Cadmus (Chalcol of 1 Chron 2:6; 1 Kings 4:31) who founded Athens and Thebes was an Israelite. Cadmus was a descendant of the kings of Tyre who in turn descended from the kings of Sidon. Sidon was settled by Zidon the firstborn of Canaan, son of Ham, son of Noah.
The Lacedemonians or Spartans were descendants of Abraham. - Josephus 12.4.10 & 1 Maccabees 12 They may have been descendants of Abraham through Keturah.
Danaus founder of Argos was an Israelite prince who did not migrate with Moses to the promised land. Descendants of Danus were called Danai. Danaus left Egypt and came to Argos (Argives) 393 years before Moses lead the Exodus from Egypt. Josephus AP 1.15
The Danai were not connected with the Israelite tribe of Dan.
Cecrops who founds Attica was an Israelite.
